Color

I was aiming for more of a navy blue, deep purple, and greenish yellow..
but..
I am really happy with the colors!

It is fun to see how the natural color in the fleece
takes the dye.

The instructor of our spinning group recommended I try
a "dog rake".

It works great!!
(Thanks Marilyn!!)

Fluffs the locks and takes out debris.
Hardly even need to use the hand carders.

I've been trying to keep track of what I have been using
and making notes on these little cards.

The cards fit into baseball card sleeves that I keep in a binder.

This is about 108 yards of the Kool-aid dyed fleece spun on
a drop spindle.

Can't wait
to spin another round to see how it looks plied!
