Cut a nice straight slice of bread off a fresh loaf?

Forget it...

All I can manage is crooked.

So when it came to slicing apples to make dried apple rings
I went straight for assistance.

This little apple peeler is wonderful.
It peels, cores, and cuts the apples into a perfect spiral.

Perfectly cut, uniformly thick ~ perfect for the dehydrator!

I've done some Honey Crisp apples
and some golden delicious.
Both completely wonderful.

Sweet, chewy, no added sugars.
Perfect to grab for a snack!

Happy Autumn!

A most excellent contraption! And really great drawing style. The dried apple slices are so fun and decorative!

yes, I have one of those contraptions too - I will say it is a good one, and I love your drawing.
