Mayapple

It has been a damp spring full of rain.

Just about e v e r y day rain.

The trees are slowly filling out and the woods are dark...

I think we had a partial day of sun last weekend and the bees were busting it.

All the rain has prompted one swarm so far..

at least one that I know of.

The girls can't get out in the rain and they get all swarmy. It happens when we have rainy springs.

Maybe that's why I like the bees so much..

All this rain is making me feel swarmy too.

The mayapples are poking through. I love it when the woods are carpeted with a sea of miniature umbrellas.

Umbrellas and rain..

Think I'll go make a cup of tea with honey..
