I went out to dig up some carrots to have with our dinner on New Years Day.
(They are keeping quite nicely under the maple leaves and I had to laugh..
one carrot fed us for dinner!)
That crazy carrot had me smiling as I peeled the monster because...
I just plain love the color
ORANGE.

It's really no secret...
Orange boat size of small Volkswagen strapped to small Volkswagen.
A room..
Something?
It's been so dreary here...and cold.
You'll be happy to know the bathroom FEELS ten degrees warmer now!
I think orange is going to my head.
My new glasses: black on the outside - orange on the inside.

That thing was huge... Hope all your winter carrots are just as big!
Huge carrot!!... I dont see many flowers with orange colour. I suppose nature reserves orange colour for ripe fruits and tuber...
I am still in shock over that carrot. Wow. Love the new paint color, like a vibrant hue from a turning fall leaf.
Oh my gosh...I love the orange VW! I had a Kharmann Ghia years ago...it ended up needing too much work so I had to sell it. But it was my dream to have one...and to have one again. Someday... (Altho I do love that VW wagon...my brother had one...it was a beast. He spray painted it...it was hysterical. And didn't work very well. It sure was fun to ride in tho...quite the hoopty!)
Now that... is a carrot!
Haha! Love the carrot. I read once that orange makes people hungry, so they really are the perfect color... or the worst, depending on how you look at it. I'm glad I'm not orange.
