I was so excited with the thought of a major accumulation of snow that I could hardly sleep. I slept with the exterior light on the garage on all night so I could wake up and still see it snowing. At 0530, I opened my eyes and thought...hmmm where did the bistro chair go on the back patio?
Here it is! Under a blanket of snow. Pulled on my garden boots and stepped out onto the back porch, only to have it go over my boots! YES!!! 19.5 inches on the yard stick and it's still coming down!! YES! YES! YES!
Can't wait to get out in it! Snapped this from the back door this morning with the flood lights on...Okay.. shower.. breakfast...start the fire... grab snow pants... and GOOOOOO!!!
Thank you God for this most beautiful morning..

Found this quote after leaving the first...
Everyone can wonder at a snowfall blanketing the hills in winter white. ~~Anonymous~~
I'm wondering if there's any way that beautiful snow could head our way?
Your excitement is contagious! I am so sick of snow it makes me cringe but yours is so pretty and fresh looking that I promise to look with new eyes at mine. Enjoy~
We normally have about 40 inches a winter here and haven't even broken 3 inches yet. In fact it has not been below freezing since the beginning of January! (My grass and parsley are growing!) They say it is because El Nino (or La Nina...) Last year we had over 80 inches though (again because of one of the Ninos.) It is like our winters are reversed this year! I hope that doesn't mean we are in for a rainy cold summer...
Anyhow, I'm jealous! I love snow!
Now I'm really jealous. Boy if I was there we would be having one
h-ll of a fight a snowball fight. Now you go out and enjoy that greatness and throw one for me.
