For the love of honey..

I've been on the hunt for a honey jar. We've been using a jelly jar, which has been fine, but I wanted something fun! Came across this jar at an outlet store. Fell in love with the little bee on the lid! Filled it up withe last of the dark (and wonderful) bamboo honey from our neighbor. Bon appetite!!

Another shot of the remains from inside Gwen's frozen hive. It still brings a tear to my eye to see them reaching for one another.

Was out last week checking on the girls with all the ice and snow we've had. I could hear them humming away when I put my ear up to the hives. Hoping for the best this spring...
