Work in progress...garage sink.
I've been known to haul things home from thrift stores, curbs, yard sales - you name it. We were looking for a utility sink for the garage when I came across this cast iron Kohler sink for $20 at my favorite re-use store, Construction Junction. In the trunk it went. Clearance tile and left over lumber make the base. The faucet is new, but that's only because they didn't have any used ones at the two kitchen surplus stores I tried. I am posting this because it's 10:30 at night, I have pickled beets in the canner, and I've never been so glad to be able to rinse off the red juice and the dirt in the garage before hauling them in the house! Thank you Construction Junction!

Nice sink! And a good price too. I hope that you have been enjoying your weekend. Happy Sunday!
We just intalled that faucet in our kitchen - it's great!
I'd love to have a sink in the garage.
love the window above the sink too. it all looks to good to be in the garage but it will be very useful .
Congrats on the sink, it is pretty fancy too!
Love that!!!!
You did such a beautiful job...looks great!
Nothing better than to reuse for certain projects. We have a Habitat for Humanity store which is like a treasure hunt for us.
Thanks everyone! It's funny ~ I hauled that sink home with the intention of putting it in our kitchen, but it was more chipped than I thought once I got it cleaned up. My husband did a fantastic job fitting it for the garage. Plus, it was less expensive that a plastic utility sink. I love the enamel! I've been teasing him that I like the garage better than the kitchen and I am going to haul the dishes out there to wash them!
: )
Very cool! Great score! Nice to have a window over the sink, too.
How cute is that?
Wow! That's MY kitchen sink...only reversed!
That's a darn nice sink for the 'garage' sink! And the fact that you've got a window too? Awesome.
Okay, chipped or not, that sink would be in my kitchen, but then my kitchen is still a work in progress and this would really be progress.
I am so wanting an outdoor sink too. Now that the pizza oven is fired up, we need a whole outdoor kitchen. At least that's what I'm thinking. Off to Re-Store, love that place!
omg constuction junction I want that place near me...I could truly use a few items with us renovating our basement...I have to visit one day and of course see you...u are doing amazing things as usual...martha #2...hehe
