Making The Rounds

Perfect day for checking on the bees.

Bees at home and at the farms.
Views from the truck with the window down.

At the end of a hidden lane, Queen Charlotte waits.

Happy bees singing today enjoying the smell of fresh mowed hay.

ahhh love these photos so very much!
It looks so beautiful where you live!
It is so fun to see pieces of your days, and of Queen Charlotte's! Lots of haying going on over here too, isn't it so beautiful to see the golden hay bundled and laying in the fields!

We checked on our bees as well. They're doing quite wonderfully, ready for a new box on top for the fall nectar flow.

Our new hive is slow to build up, but we're hopeful for them this winter.

Both hives are getting a bit of organic sugar syrup with wintergreen oil for mite treatment.
