My feet in the garden this morning.
Today was one of those days when I pulled on my "chicken pants" (blue plaid pants for $1.99 at the GW), slipped on my garden clogs, grabbed my robe and ran out the back door as soon as I woke up. The neighbors can't see, but I don't think they would mind. They've been known to do the same thing!
As I ran down the path to the garden, I bumped into Dad, who had just finished his round of picking blues. Today's yield alone: 2.15 POUNDS of blueberries! Mom freezes most of the berries in big pretzel containers and we enjoy them all year round. Still finishing up last years berries..

Pink Beauty radishes are beauties!
I am not a huge fan of radishes, but I've fallen in love with these lovelies.

Sounds like a great start.. lovely to read. It is these days that we remember in the middle of winter.
I love the radish photo...it looks so sweet and pretty with the sun shining through. And I have to say I LOVE your garden attire!
Fabulous 'chicken attire' : )
We live in the middle of a field, I have also been known to be out in my p.j.'s lol
Wow, great haul Dad!! 2.15 pounds, that is insane!
Our blueberries are not ripe yet but I do look forward to picking them! Your garden is looking so great, I need to get out there and support my tomatoes just as soon as it stops raining! I have a few in cages, how are you staking yours?
How wonderful to run into your dad out in the garden. My dad lives half the country away. It must be so great to share the adventure of gardening together! Can't wait to read more about what's in store for the aphids.
so, i have yellow boots that I always slip on with my pajamas. I should get a picture of that for you!.

love blueberries.
did I mention I love blueberries?
I wander around my garden wearing my night atire! Usually picking snails off plants and swearing quietly to myself!! I have blueberry envy! We can only buy 10 at a time in this country... its pathetic. will send you a photo of a punnet.. it will make you laugh!
Are you brewing up some rhubarb leaf tea perhaps? Love the outfit - sometimes I'm still wearing a similar outfit into the afternoon. Maybe it does scare the neighbors - I know it does the chickens :)
i can't wait for our blueberries to start producing like that! and thanks for the reminder to support my tomatoes - i'm seriously behind on stringing them up.
I put blueberries in the cupcakes and the punch for the bean's birthday this weekend and a few of us were gushing about how much we love blueberries. I told them all about your giant blueberry forest and we all became insanely jealous and plotted to move in next door so we could run blueberry recon missions... obviously a little obsessed.
I must say that I think your 'chicken' pants are perfect. I don't have a 'garden' per se but I have been known to water my pots every morning in my robe. Personally, I could care less if my neighbors see it or not.
Everybody seems to want your blueberries. My hubby would want your berries, I'd rather have the zucchini.
everyone is posting their garden photos. it's wonderful.
i love your chicken pants. and i especially love that you CALL them your chicken pants.
and i love your feet shots. I'm constantly shooting my feet. no idea why.
