Shawlette..

From hand dyed roving..

... to hand spun yarn...

..comes my first little shawlette..

..enjoying some morning sun..

in the woods!

This was a wonderful pattern!

I did use every last bit of the 266 yards that I spun

and ran out with about 2 inches left to go on the bind off.

Had a little extra fiber to spin to get enough to finish the edge..

..whew..

The everyday..

Saw my bee mentor out in his yard on my

way home from spinning group.

We chatted.  

He gave me a tomato plant.

I gave him some squash seeds.

Got in the car and laughed..

Tomato in the cup holder

and hand spun riding shot gun.
